We are a small licensed practice in Richmond Hill. Most of our work is with business owners and entrepreneurs, and we also handle Express Entry, study permits, family sponsorship, refugee claims and appeals. Two consultants, both on the CICC register, both easy to check.
About Progressive
Progressive Immigration Services Inc. opened in 2005. Mohammadreza Nosraty has led the licensed practice since April 2012 and holds the RCIC-IRB licence, which means he can represent clients at the Immigration and Refugee Board as well as with IRCC. Mohsen Safavi is the senior immigration officer in our office, focusing on business immigration and work-permit files. He is an employee, not a partner.
We do not take every file. If your case needs a lawyer, for example a Federal Court judicial review, we will say so and refer you.

Programs
Before we suggest a program, we check whether it is actually taking applications. If it is paused or capped, it says so on the page, and we will not sell you a consultation about it as if it were open.

We would rather you verify us than trust us. Here is where to look.
How we work
What happens depends on your matter and on the written agreement, but the sequence is always the same. Step 1 is free. Step 2 is a paid consultation. Steps 3 to 6 happen only under a signed retainer.
Identify the service area, urgency and current program status.
You explain the situation. The consultant tells you which rules apply and what they would do next.
We set out the work, who is responsible, the records needed and the fee.
Organize forms and supporting material under the written retainer.
File through the appropriate channel and monitor official communication.
Explain the decision and identify any lawful follow-up options.
Start with the right level of help
Fill in a short form and we tell you which service fits. Estimate your Express Entry score. Or book half an hour with one of us.
Four short steps. We reply to say which service fits your situation, or that we cannot help. It is not an eligibility decision.

Calculate CRS →Thirty minutes, usually by video. Phone and in-person appointments are also available. CAD $100.00 total.
View consultation options →Read recent invitation rounds from IRCC and compare only with rounds you could enter.
See recent rounds →A consultation is advice. Representation needs a separate written retainer.
